Itinerary

Experience the unparalleled thrill of soaring above some of the world’s most paradisiacal locations. Tierra del Fuego is undoubtedly one of these paradises.

In this tour, you’ll have the privilege of flying over various must-see points of this region in a private plane. These include the Beagle Channel and its islands, Laguna Esmeralda, lakes Escondido and Fagnano, Estancia Harberton, and the town of Puerto Williams, all while the Andes Mountains showcase their majestic splendor.

The highlight of this flight is the landing in the town of Tolhuin, a small city in Tierra del Fuego where the last Selk’nam natives lived.

Upon arriving at Ushuaia’s old airport, you’ll meet our pilot who will provide some information about the journey. Afterward, we’ll board the plane and receive safety instructions.

As the plane takes off, we head towards Mount Olivia, entering the Valle de Tierra Mayor to see the famous Laguna Esmeralda and Cerro Castor, Ushuaia’s main ski center.

Throughout the flight, the pilot keeps us informed about the places we fly over.

We follow the route of Ruta 3 until we reach its highest point, the incredible Paso Garibaldi viewpoint. From here, you’ll see, among other marvels, Lake Escondido. Further ahead, the immense blue of Lake Fagnano, also known as Kami, comes into view. Only then can we grasp the vastness of this lake.

We fly over Lake Yehuin and Chepelmut, the Sierra Beauvoir (north of Lake Fagnano), and land in Tolhuin.

After exploring the town, we’ll cross the mountain range again to admire Estancia Harberton’s beautiful landscape.

Returning to Ushuaia, we fly over the Beagle Channel, passing by Martillo Island and Grande Island—home to penguins—and then spotting the Chilean town of Puerto Williams. Continuing on, we admire the rocky formation known as “Dientes de Navarino” and the fishing structures of Puerto Almanza, on the Argentine coast.

Flying over Estancia Remolino, we catch sight of the ship Monte Sarmiento, which ran aground there in 1912, and a little further, we observe the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, also known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World.

We’ll return to the airport after enjoying a beautiful view of Ushuaia, ending this magnificent tour on a high note.
