Itinerary

The journey begins on National Route 237, covering 21 km until reaching National Route 231.

From this point to Villa La Angostura, it is 66 km, and 178 km to San Martín de Los Andes along a winding and paved road, crossing the Huemul Peninsula, passing the arm of the same name, and passing through Puerto Manzano, finally reaching Villa La Angostura.

After touring the small town, we take National Route 234, the “Seven Lakes Route,” which has mountain stretches and passes through dense forests of huge Coihues.

Passing along the shore of Lake Correntoso, we cross the homonymous river and see the point called Ruca Malén, arriving at Portezuelo. The road continues passing by the lakes Villarino, Falkner, Hermoso, Meliquimia, finally reaching the city of San Martín de Los Andes, located on the shores of Lake Lácar.

The return can also be made through Paso Córdoba, taking the complementary route “D”. It is a typical mountain road, passing by Lake Meliquina, the Caleufú River, and Piedra del Viento, also passing by the Traful River until its confluence with the Limay River. Returning to the paved National Route 237 to Bariloche.
