Itinerary
At Park Austral, the journey begins with a warm welcome around the campfire, where our guide immerses everyone in the fascinating Nordic history and its Viking heroes. Discover the secrets of the fearsome warriors who raided distant lands while enjoying an authentic Viking drink: Mead, served in horn-style cups, as it was done in the epic times of the 8th century.
Our guide delves deeper into the history of the drink and its significance. Mead was an essential part of the Vikings’ lives, consumed on their exploration journeys and conquests of new lands. Before embarking on their adventures, they would toast and consume mead, believing that this drink gave them courage and bravery to face the challenges they would encounter along the way.
This tradition strengthened the bonds between the Vikings and mead, making it not just a drink but also a symbol of determination and daring for these fearless warriors.
Immersed in this medieval setting, we invite you to embark on the Nordic Sled, a vehicle that crosses Park Austral. This magical vehicle glides smoothly through snowy forests full of trees, streams, and snow-covered paths, transporting you into an adventure worthy of the most beautiful fairy tales.
We will arrive at Tip Viking, an ancient and rustic building, where we will be welcomed by the Viking Chief in person. Already familiar with the Nordic world, we will participate in a Ting, a Viking meeting where the chiefs of each Nordic group debated administrative issues of their villages, punishments, and strategies for wars and new land conquests in Scandinavia.
Our Ting:
At the Viking Ting, the Chief will warm you up with a delicious hot chocolate while sharing insights about Viking meetings. And in the end, all adventurers will be awarded a certificate to immortalize this magical day of total immersion in the era of medieval peoples.
After this journey through time, we will return to the present on the Viking Sled, which will take us to a themed restaurant where a hearty dinner of Nordic food, accompanied by wine, beer, and other beverages, awaits all participants.
Menu:
Starter: a tray with fresh fruits on a rustic tray, bread, and cheese.
Main course:
1 – Platter of various meats + various cheeses + rustic potatoes;
2 – Trout in herb sauce + mashed potatoes or pumpkin;
3 – Dessert
