A journey with typical views of the region crosses the Pampa de Huenuleo to reach Lake Gutiérrez, bordering streams, and skirting Lake Mascardi.
Crossing the bridge over the Manso River, we begin the adventure through the wonderful landscape surrounding Cerro Tronador until reaching Pampa Linda. Then, we cross a part of the Valle de los Vuriloches and finally reach the Glacier Rio Manso, commonly called the Black Glacier because it is covered with soil, sand, and stones.
The route ends at the foot of Cerro Tronador, where through a trail, you can reach a rocky amphitheater called Garganta del Diablo, which has a spectacular waterfall falling from the glacier’s height.
The Los Alerces Waterfall is a variant of the Tronador excursion.
