Itinerary

Enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and lakes of El Calafate and its surroundings and add the delightful adrenaline rush of descending through the longest zipline stretch in South America!!

This is an unforgettable way to connect with the nature and landscapes of Argentine Patagonia.

There are 5 ziplines that offer views of the Patagonian steppe, the famous Lago Argentino, the Andes Mountains, and FitzRoy.

We depart from the hotel in El Calafate heading to the east side of the city, starting our journey through Cerro Frias.

We’ll ascend the Cerro in a 4×4 vehicle and during the journey, we’ll see the famous Lago Argentino, the largest and southernmost Patagonian lake with a stunning blue color.

We also see the Avellaneda Peninsula. Upon reaching the summit at an altitude of 1,030m, we enjoy the wonderful view of FitzRoy, located in El Chalten, and also the Torres del Paine, located in Chile.

Truly a breathtaking sight!!

With this broad view of the region that we have along the way, the guide takes the opportunity to give us an introduction to the local geography, making it possible to see the boundaries of the National Park and historical points of the region.

In addition to the photogenic landscape, we may spot various common animals in Patagonia such as guanacos, foxes, condors, and hares.

It’s worth noting that the path is surrounded by the Patagonian steppe. A unique and very typical landscape of the region.

We then stop at the famous Restaurant de Campo where we have a beautiful view of the Vale do Centinela and start preparing for our real adventure: the zipline!!

The guide explains the process to us, provides the necessary equipment, and helps us get ready.
We descend 5 ziplines making a beautiful zigzag through the mountain.
Each zipline stretch is about 500 m long and 100m high, making it the longest zipline in South America.

After enjoying these moments, we return to the hotel in a van ecstatic with the wonderful experience we just lived.
